Pharmacological effects and mechanism of action

Peppermint Oil has antibacterial and antiseptic effects and has a cooling effect on the skin and mucous membranes. In addition, it can act as a flavor and create a pleasant taste in local oral products. One of the uses of Peppermint Oil, which has also been approved by the E Commission, is its use in a variety of oral, dental, nasal, and pharyngeal inflammations.
Eucalyptus Oil has been proved to have antibacterial and antiseptic effects, which are very effective in relieving the symptoms of colds and reducing local inflammation; It shows its anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting OH radicals as well as counteracting with and preventing the activation of leukocytes. With its anticonvulsant effects, inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, expectorant effects, and cough relievers, it is very suitable for respiratory problems such as colds and bronchitis. The E European Commission has also approved the use of eucalyptus oil in relieving coughs and bronchitis, as well as relieving congestion of the respiratory tract.
